TIMPO WILD WEST CITY STAGE COACH STATION
Catalogue Number 265
This is the Stage Coach Station. A stage comes through Tabletop several times a week.
The sheriff or his deputies take a keen interest in just who comes in on the stage, and who goes out. Folks also gather for the gossip, and news of what's happening in other towns, like say Someplace Else.
The Timpo Wild West City Stage Coach Station was produced from 1968 to 1972. It is approximately 1:32 scale. It was sold as a clip together plastic kit and 1 cowboy figure and 1 cactus were included in the box.
The model is nicely detailed, with planking walls and roof. It has opening double doors, and on the boardwalk there is a stepped loading platform and a hitching rail.
All this was included in the box. Glue was not required for assembly. Detail is crisp and nicely done.
As you can see, the kit was molded in colour, but we've painted our assembled model.
Here's the photo-style box for the Timpo Wild West City Stage Coach Station. This box was produced from 1970 to 1972.
This is the rear of the Stage Coach Station. We replaced the plastic stove pipe with a piece of brass tube.
The boxes, barrels and other accessories were not included with the model.
In the above photos we've used Britains Swoppets and Timpo figures to populate the scenes. There's also a lady who was made from Milliput and tissue paper. The boxes and barrels are made by Barzso. A Timpo stage coach is just leaving town.
